Grocery Store Deal Lovers: This Post is For You

One of the topics that I get frequently asked about on the blog through comments and emails is coupons and how to save money. I always have the same general advice to give to everyone and that is; to be smart, plan ahead, be aware of the deals out there, and most importantly use those coupons.

And if you are not a person who gets the Sunday paper, not one to take the time to clip coupons, and not one to remember to bring them with you to the grocery store, then guess what, there is something even better out there that will eliminate the need for any of those stated items. That being? The Kroger Co. Cart Buster Sales and Select Your Deal Event promotion going on now! I am no stranger to this and know it all too well, as I am the one to set the alarm on my phone in order to remember to login and score my deals. So before I lose you, let me just highlight the main points for you.

The sales event is going on from March 3-16 at all Kroger Co. stores with hundreds of products on sale. These include, but not limited to, Crest, Pampers, Pantene, Gatorade, and more. You can find the list of sale items here

Most importantly is what today is. Today and next Friday {March 15th} is the day for the Select Your Deal Event. How does this even work? Easy. You go to the main website by clicking here, sign in {or sign up if you have not already using your Kroger shopping card}, you will then be presented with three additional coupon savings to choose from, which is then loaded on to your card. This digital coupon will automatically be deducted once you purchase the chosen product when you use your shopping card. In other words, maximize your savings. Not everyone gets the same three coupons to pick from, so there is that element of surprise there. And while you are there, be sure to load some other coupons that Kroger has to offer on your card. It is literally as simple as a click of a button.

It is amazing how far we have come in this present day where "clipping" and having a "coupon binder" is eliminated for us and saving money has become that much easier.
