Messy Wife, Blessed Life + $25 Starbucks Giveaway

Today, I have another sweet mama to share with you. She is a SAHM to a precious little girl, Lucia, part time spanish teacher, and of course a fellow blogger navigating through this blessed life.

Please check her out below, and she has also graciously offered to give away a $25 gift card to starbucks to one lucky winner!

1. When my husband proposed (July 16, 2009)  We were camping with my family and I knew it was coming, but it was so sweet and he was so nervous!  You can read the whole story here: http://www.messywife.com/2011/06/our-engagement-story.html.

2. Our wedding day (July 17, 2010)  We had the most beautiful Nuptial Mass and a wonderful reception celebrating with our loved ones.  I wasn't nervous one bit, because I knew without a doubt that David is "the one" for me.  We balance each other out perfectly.  Going on three years of marriage, I love him even more today than I did that day, which I thought was impossible!

3. The day our sweet baby was born (December 5, 2011)  When we first got married, we thought we would wait until my husband graduated to start a family, but a few months in we were so anxious to get started!  A month after we decided to try for a baby, Lucia was born.  I loved that the day she was born was also the day we brought her home, so we could start our new life together as a family of three in our own little apartment.  (She was born in a free-standing birth center, so there aren't overnight stays.)

4. My husband's Ph.D. graduation (May 12, 2012) David started the program a few months after we met and ended it with his wife and baby at his side.  He worked so hard to get to a place where he could provide well for his family, I am SO proud of him, and I love being able to say Dr. and Mrs.

5. My brother-in-law's wedding last year (June 1, 2012)  My husband was the best man and I was a bridesmaid and we had so much fun.  My new sister-in-law is one of my best friends and the only sister I've ever had and I'm so, so thankful to have her in my life.  David and I dream of buying a house in the same neighborhood as his brother someday so our kids can grow up together and we always have our best friends/family nearby.
