There's something to be said about a photographer that is able to come into a home with a warming heart, capture the love within your family, and put everyone instantly at ease. Including a two year old rambunctious toddler.
There's something to be said about a photographer who just knows what to capture, where to capture, and how to capture a certain image. To truly portray the beauty between a big sister and her little brother. To showcase the love two parents have for their children. To display the emotion between these four family members.
All through a photograph.
It's no secret that I have a love for images. I absolutely love how one photograph can tell a story. The way that images are able to bring back happy memories. Make you smile. Change your mood. Serve as a reminder.
And so here I am today to tell you about a very talented husband-wife team. Their names are Nathan and Ashley Siner and they are the brilliant faces behind Nathan and Ashley Siner Photography.
Today, we had the privilege of working with this talented duo. As soon as they walked through the door, they put a smile on Elliana's face. A rare task to accomplish. They made us laugh right away. Made us feel comfortable. And truly made us feel like we had been friends for years.
We spoke for a while before we even got started. Not necessarily about the session, but just life. Being parents. Having children similar in age. The joys.
How nice it is to know that when placed in a stressful situation {a toddler and a camera is always a means for a stressful situation}, that two strangers are able to take away that stress, make it look fun and easy, and put a smile on her face.
And they did this perfectly.
The couple hours that we had our session was relaxed. Ellian was absolutely wonderful {hello toddler who hates the camera in her face} and she was all smiles. Putting on a performance.
I loved how these two used their experience and knew to get the toddler pictures first. They knew that eventually, with time, she would get worn out, tantrums would begin, and the "no" would come out. And did.
And then at the end, when we thought we wouldn't be able to get a picture with mama and baby girl and papa and baby girl, Nathan amazed us again by coming up with a little "game" to do with E while he snapped some pictures. This girl that was hours past her nap time, hungry, and over-worked went for it, and because of this we have some of our favorite pictures by our side.
My favorite part about this shoot was that it didn't feel like a photo shoot. It felt so natural. These two came into our home and captured us. I am so thankful for these photos and these two that were able to give that to us.
We cannot wait until it warms up and we can take our sessions outside! Little man will no longer be a little baby anymore, and that just blows my mind.
Please take a moment to check out this beautiful duo and follow their photography journey! If you or anyone you know is looking for a wedding or portrait photographer, these two are it! I have said it before they did my session, and will say it after, they are by far the best in our state. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!
