You know it's been crazy busy around these parts when 1} The last time I did a "life lately" post was in October 2} I have two full collages of pictures from instagram life and 3} I have so much I want to say that I don't even know where to start.
But, I have to start somewhere, and I have to make this quick as I only have so much nap time to work with and lots of things on the to-do list.
First off, birthday celebrations! I have been so busy all week with preparations and making our baby girl feel super special that I have totally slacked off in all other areas {including this blog}. All for good reason. I have a birthday post to come {probably won't be scheduled for another two weeks}, with details on what we did on the big day as well as the party day! But for now... let me just say this... everything turned out so perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate what have been the best two years of our lives. We are so thankful for our family and this beautiful life that we have been blessed with.
Moving right along... I have tried many recipes that many of you have asked for me to post about. Because I have so many things lined up and other posts that are more important, I will just list the ones that I have tried and recommend here. Creamy chicken recipe {I suggest baking it on the lower end and flattening out the chicken first}. Cheese, potato and smoked casserole {I used turkey sausage and added zucchini and it was DELICIOUS like that!}. Chicken salad {I cut the recipe in half because it makes just way too much! And I used organic low fat mayo from Traders Joes which I thought tasted just fine. I also threw in cashews and grapes}.
We had a fish. We named her Lucy. She died after two days. Lets just say I have a lot of learning to do in the fish parenting department. We will try again later.
The nursery is coming together beautifully and I cannot wait to share it with everyone. Unfortunately I am still waiting on a lot of things to come in {accent color pieces} so the reveal will probably not occur until the big baby debut.
Speaking of baby debut, hello it's almost the middle of November! I could be having this baby at the end of next month. The holidays are making things go by so fast. That and having a toddler to chase around these days :)
Holiday cards will be going out in the mail next week! I will also be making an announcement about blogger cards. Can't wait to share! In the meantime, if you are a holiday card lover {like myself} and would like to receive one in the mail, please email me your address and I'll be sure I get one out to you!
Speaking of blog related business. A lot coming up. I can't squeeze the posts quick enough. A lot are sitting in draft and honestly it's killing me because they won't be able to post for weeks {sometimes for a month}. So I am trying to organize them by priority. But you know how that goes.
